RESET® Upper Lids

The RESET Procedures are designed for individuals with light to medium skin tones, as the laser technology used is most effective within this range. Patients with darker skin tones may explore alternative treatments suitable for their skin type. All patients undergo a thorough evaluation to determine if the procedure aligns with their health status and cosmetic goals. Prior cosmetic surgeries will also be considered during the assessment.

To ensure patient comfort and safety, general or tumescent anesthesia is used during RESET procedures, adhering to medical standards for such surgeries.

Recovery varies by individual, generally involving a period of 10-14 days for the initial healing phase during which the skin rejuvenates. It’s crucial to follow post-operative care instructions closely for optimal healing. Regular follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress.

The RESET Upper Lids procedure, developed by Dr. Scheiner, is unique due to his specialization and experience in deep resurfacing techniques. Currently, Dr. Scheiner is the sole provider of this innovative approach.

Pain is typically minimal, with most patients finding over-the-counter pain relief sufficient for any discomfort experienced.

Unlike traditional upper lid blepharoplasty, which primarily addresses excess skin and fat, RESET Upper Lids includes laser skin resurfacing to improve the texture and appearance of the eyelid skin, offering a more comprehensive rejuvenation.

RESET procedures are elective cosmetic surgeries and, as such, are not covered by insurance. Our practice operates on a self-pay basis, ensuring patients are aware of all costs upfront.
